Job Description:
We are seeking a temporary Medical Assistant (MA) to join our team in Sault St. Marie, MI. In this role, the Medical Assistant will work closely with healthcare professionals to provide patient care and support in a clinical setting. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

Obtain patient vital signs, medical history, and chief complaint
Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
Administer medications and immunizations as directed by the healthcare professional
Perform basic laboratory tests and document results
Assist with patient education and provide instructions on home care
Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of a Medical Assistant program
Current certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA)
Minimum of 1-year experience working as a Medical Assistant
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work day shifts (Monday - Friday)
