Job Title: Audiologist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Audiologist to join our team. The Audiologist will be responsible for assessing and treating patients with hearing and balance disorders. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, be detail-oriented, and have a passion for helping others improve their quality of life.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conduct hearing tests and evaluations to assess patients' hearing abilities
- Develop and implement customized treatment plans for patients with hearing loss
- Fit and dispense hearing aids and assistive listening devices
- Provide counseling and education to patients and their families on hearing health and communication strategies
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients
- Stay current with advancements in audiology technology and research
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Qualifications:
- Doctorate in Audiology (Au.D.) or equivalent required
- Valid state license to practice audiology
- Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
