Job Title: House Supervisor for SNF (Skilled Nursing Facility)
Job Summary:
The House Supervisor for SNF is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the skilled nursing facility, ensuring that resident care is delivered in a safe and effective manner. This position requires strong leadership skills, the ability to problem solve and make decisions quickly, and a commitment to upholding high standards of care.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Supervise and lead nursing staff to ensure quality care is provided to residents.
2. Coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges of residents.
3. Oversee medication management and administration.
4. Handle any emergencies or incidents that may arise within the facility.
5. Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and teamwork.
6. Conduct regular rounds to monitor resident care and address any concerns.
7. Implement and enforce policies and procedures to maintain compliance with regulations.
8. Participate in staff training and development initiatives.
9. Maintain accurate documentation and records of resident care.
10. Communicate with residents and their families to address any questions or concerns.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
2. Current RN license in the state of practice.
3. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory role within a healthcare setting.
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Knowledge of state and federal regulations governing skilled nursing facilities.
6. Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
7. Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
8. Proficient computer skills.
9. CPR certification.
10. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
