Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Urogynecology Advanced Practice Provider to join our esteemed healthcare team. This position plays a crucial role in providing comprehensive healthcare services to female patients suffering from pelvic floor disorders, urogynecological conditions, and related reproductive health issues. As a Urogynecology Advanced Practice Provider, you will work closely with the Urogynecologist and a multidisciplinary team to deliver specialized care, develop treatment plans, perform diagnostic procedures, and provide patient education. Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Perform initial patient assessments and gather comprehensive medical histories.
2. Conduct physical examinations to evaluate women's pelvic health and identify urogynecological issues.
3. Collaborate with the Urogynecologist and the interdisciplinary team to develop personalized treatment plans.
4. Administer and interpret diagnostic tests, including ultrasounds, urodynamic studies, and cystoscopies.
5. Perform minor surgical procedures, such as cystoscopies, biopsies, and inserting/removing pelvic mesh devices.
6. Prescribe medications and treatments as necessary, ensuring patient safety and adherence to established protocols.
7. Educate patients on their diagnoses, treatment options, and preventive measures to enhance their understanding of urogynecological conditions.
8. Monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as required to optimize outcomes and quality of life.
9. Collaborate with other healthcare providers, such as physical therapists and nutritionists, to provide comprehensive care.
10. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records according to the established healthcare protocols and regulatory requirements.
11. Participate in conferences, seminars, and educational activities to stay informed about the latest advancements in urogynecology.
12. Contribute to quality improvement initiatives by actively participating in clinical research, data collection, and analysis.
13. Adhere to professional standards, ethical guidelines, and infection control protocols.

Qualifications and Skills:
1. Master's degree in Advanced Practice Nursing or Physician Assistant studies, with a specialization in Urogynecology/Women's Health.
2. Active state licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA).
3. Certification in Urogynecology or Women's Health from a recognized certification body (e.g., National Certification Corporation for Obstetric, Gynecologic, and Neonatal Nursing Specialties).
4. Proven experience in providing specialized urogynecological care, preferably in a clinical/hospital setting.
5. Strong knowledge of urogynecological disorders, pelvic floor anatomy, and related treatments.
6. Proficient in performing diagnostic procedures such as ultrasounds, urodynamics, and cystoscopies.
7. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to empathize and effectively educate patients about their conditions.
8. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
9. Detail-oriented, with excellent clinical judgment and critical thinking abilities.
10. Proficiency in maintaining electronic medical records and using related software.
