Job Title: Registered Nurse (Floor Nurse)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (Floor Nurse) to join our healthcare team. As a Floor Nurse, you will provide exceptional patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care plans. Responsibilities and Duties:

- Perform comprehensive assessments of patients, including physical, psychological, and social aspects, to identify healthcare needs.

- Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients, in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, to optimize outcomes.

- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by healthcare providers, ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to standards of care.

- Monitor and evaluate patient responses to treatments and interventions, adjusting care plans as necessary.

- Provide patient and family education on disease management, treatment options, and preventive measures.

- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, such as physicians, nurses, and therapists, to coordinate and manage patient care.

- Assist in the coordination of patient admissions, transfers, and discharges in an efficient and organized manner.

- Ensure compliance with healthcare policies, procedures, and regulations to maintain quality of care.

- Document patient information accurately and timely, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to legal, ethical, and professional standards.

- Identify and report nursing care quality improvement opportunities, participating in initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.

- Maintain a safe and clean working environment, following infection control protocols and other safety measures.

- Foster a compassionate and supportive environment for patients and their families, demonstrating empathy and active listening skills.

- Stay updated with healthcare advancements, attending professional development programs and training sessions.

- Uphold professionalism and ethical behavior, promoting a positive work culture and contributing to a collaborative team environment.

- Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, assisting with their professional development and growth.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Valid and current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the United States.

- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.

- Proven experience as a Registered Nurse (Floor Nurse) or in a similar role.

- Excellent clinical and critical thinking skills, with a strong attention to detail.

- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.

- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, fostering effective teamwork and patient-centered care.

- Proficient in using electronic medical record systems and healthcare software.

- Strong knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and procedures.

- Demonstrated ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively.

- Knowledge of and compliance with relevant healthcare laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
