Job Title: CNA - Acute Care
Job Summary:
As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) working in acute care, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care and assisting healthcare professionals in a hospital setting. Your primary role will be to help patients with activities of daily living, monitor their vital signs, and assist with medical procedures as needed.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Provide basic patient care, including bathing, feeding, and assisting with mobility
- Monitor and record vital signs
- Assist healthcare professionals with medical procedures
- Ensure patient safety and comfort at all times
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Maintain a clean and organized patient environment
Qualifications and Skills:
- Current CNA certification
- High school diploma or GED
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology
- Ability to lift and move patients as needed
