Job Summary: As an LVN/LPN, you will be responsible for providing basic nursing care to patients under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician. You will be required to monitor patient health, administer medications, assist with treatments, and educate patients and their families on proper healthcare practices.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Assist with patient assessments and development of nursing care plans
2. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
3. Monitor patient vital signs and overall health status
4. Educate patients on self-care techniques and disease prevention
5. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
7. Assist with the coordination of patient appointments and follow-up care
8. Provide emotional support to patients and their families during medical procedures
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Graduate of an accredited vocational nursing program
2. Current LVN/LPN license in the state of practice
3. CPR certification
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
5. Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-stress environment
6. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team
