Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Job Summary:
As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will provide direct patient care under the supervision of licensed nurses in various healthcare settings. You will assist patients with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, and ensure their comfort and well-being.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, feeding, and grooming
- Take and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
- Help patients with mobility and positioning to prevent pressure ulcers
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
- Follow care plans and report any changes in patient condition to the nursing staff
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients
- Adhere to all healthcare regulations and standards
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a state-approved CNA training program
- Current certification as a CNA
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Compassion and empathy for patients
- Physical stamina to lift and move patients
- Basic medical knowledge and understanding of patient care principles
