Job Title: Dialysis Nurse
Job Summary:
As a Dialysis Nurse, you will be responsible for providing care to patients with kidney disease who require dialysis treatment. You will monitor patients during dialysis procedures, administer medications, and work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Assessing patients' health status before, during, and after dialysis treatment.
2. Administering medication and monitoring patients for adverse reactions.
3. Monitoring dialysis equipment and making adjustments as needed.
4. Educating patients and their families about dialysis treatment and self-care.
5. Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans.
6. Documenting patient information and treatment outcomes accurately.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Valid RN license in the state of practice.
2. At least 2 years of experience in nephrology or critical care nursing.
3. Certification in dialysis nursing (CNN or CDN) preferred.
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-stress environment.
